ALEX KIDD？

街机版战斧开场画面中，死去的那个士兵叫Alex。先前在wiki看到过一篇文章说街机版兽王记第一关有个墓碑是Alex的。紧跟着后面列举了几个SEGA游戏中客串的战斧角色，例如Alien Storm和Shining in the Darkness中。
今天在http://goldenaxe.classicgaming.gamespy.com/letters.htm又看到这篇文章，特意去玩了下兽王记。
墓碑上的字很小，截图放大了看才认出来，小墓碑上是ALEX，大墓碑上是STELLA。为什么会有个Stella呢？我去搜索了下，因为这名字太普通，没有什么有用的信息，后来又连同Alex一起搜索，找到的是一个游戏的名字“Alex Kidd With Stella - The Lost Stars”，也是SEGA于1986年在system16街机上推出的一个游戏。

This game is the debut of Sega's first mascot, Alex Kidd who mostly appeared in various games for the Sega Master System. Alex's only game that was made for the Sega Mega Drive was "Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle" in 1989. Alex Kidd's last game was titled "Alex Kidd in Shinobi World" which was somewhat of a crossover between the Alex Kidd series and Shinobi. In 1991, Alex Kidd was replaced with a 'faster than a speeding bullet'-type character called Sonic The Hedgehog.
看来Alex Kidd这个角色的知名度在当年也不一般，后来才被Sonic取代。（汗，我没听说过）
-v-，看来那块墓碑上的文字的来源应该就是这个"Alex Kidd With Stella"，至于战斧里面那个倒霉的士兵名字是否也和这个有关，之后当年想出这个名字的人知道了。
